Building the capacities of Kyrgyz public authorities to develop services for families with children at risk

On 29th November – 8th December 2018, the experts of the NGO “Partnerships for every child”, Mrs. Ana Palii and Mrs. Svetlana Rijicova delivered trainings on child protection to the local public authorities from Sokuluk and Isiik-Atinsk, Kyrgyzstan. The trainings focused on the development and promotion of social services for families with children at risk aimed at preventing institutionalization and of alternative family-type services, such as foster care in the context of deinstitutionalization.

The trainings were delivered within the project “Supportive Family Environment for Children in Kyrgyz Republic” implemented by the NGO “Partnerships for every child”, “Child’s Rights Defenders League” from Kyrgyzstan, with support of the European Union.
