Monday, May 14, 2018

This year, on Europe’s Day, the team of the NGO „Partnerships for every child” participated in the activities conducted at the European Town 2018. With the Educational Centre for Children “Ingenium” a number of activities to advertise early years support programmes for children with special educational needs through creative workshops, face painting and contests were carried out. These programmes are: Makaton, Portage, Mellow Parenting and Communication through Music. They are developed within the EU-funded “Improving access to community-based early years and pre-school support services for vulnerable children with special needs in Moldova” Project.

The goal of the event was to foster the European values and inform the public about the projects and assistance provided by the EU to the Republic of Moldova.

The above mentioned programmes are implemented by the NGO „Partnerships for every child” in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection and the District Councils of 5 districts: Cahul, Călărași, Fălești, Nisporeni and Ungheni. The overall objective is to provide access for children with special educational needs aged 0-7 and their families to support programmes developed within the above mentioned project. The project – 680,000 EURO – is funded by the European Union.
