The Seven brothers of Criuleni District had moved into their house

Tuesday, January 12, 2016

The seven siblings of Criuleni District – helped by P4EC through the Awareness Campaign “A house to make a family come together” – had moved into their house. Yes, they have now their own house, with a garden with Cherry trees, as they wanted, and special spaces where girls could plant flower, while boys could repair or “master” all necessary for their house.

Thanks to good-hearted people, we could reunite a family and offer them a home. Children were promised to have Local Authorities’ support every time they’d need it.

We won’t deny that our efforts to make heard the voice of these children by more people, in this Campaign, weren’t little or less. Still, we are glad that every time we knocked at the door, we found sensitive, receptive and generous people, which could involve other and other people to help us help the 7 brothers. Every effort was worth it and every single person we met in this period was important.

We are very grateful to all those who helped us accomplish this mission – media partners and Campaign’s supporters: the Company Moldcell, the staff of transmission “Prima oră” of Prime TV, the Italian Embassy in Moldova, the singer Adrian Ursu, who joined us since the beginning in all the activities related to the Campaign, Criuleni District Council, the Local Council of the village of Mașcăuți in Criuleni District, the Direction of Social Assistance and Family Protection of Criuleni District, and not least the institutional donors of our Organization.

Children also wanted to express their gratitude to all those who supported them and reacted promptly, thus helping to make their dream come true.

Marcela

I would like to thank everybody for their care toward us. Staying by our side meant a lot in these moments. Now we have our house… a house as big as a heart where everyone has a place. Thank you all!

Ana

Our house means a lot to us. I’ve been dreaming of it for such a long time and now my dream came true! In my dream I had my own room, a table to make my homework, a space to share together with my brothers. Most of it I like to cook for my brothers. They have some favorite meal and I also enjoy taking care of them.

My dream came true! First I drew our house as I imagined it and it is quite alike with this real one. We even have a garden! We already sown onion so it grows up till the summer. We dug and have prepared the ground for its fertile period, we sown potatoes, vegetables and, of course, we planted a birch tree. We also intend to make cans with the fruits of the trees we already have in the garden. We even plan to raise some goslings.

Mihai

Our dream to come together has come true. It’s a real joy to us! We are unite and we take care of each other, like brothers and sisters do. We listen to each other and we help each other. Teachers help us when necessary and we do well with our classmates.

Mircea

House means happiness and a possibility to stay together with my brothers. I help my sisters with the housekeeping, while with my brothers we cut the woods, clean up the house and make fire in the stove to keep the warmth.
