Representatives of Partnerships for Every Child (P4EC), of the Ministry of Education and Local Public Authorities from Falesti, Cahul, Nisporeni, and Causeni regions, participated recently in a study tour to Edinburgh, Scotland. This is the third visit organized by P4EC in collaboration with Healthprom and Falkirk Council, for the stakeholders of the USAID-funded project “Children in Moldova live in safe and secure families”, implemented by P4EC.
The goal of the visit was capacity building of the central and local public authorities, for the implementation of the child protection system reform and development of alternative care services, in line with the UN Child’s Rights Convention.
The study tour agenda included a training program provided by a group of child care experts from governmental and non-governmental sector in Scotland. The participants visited a series of social services and educational institutions in Falkirk.
