National Advisory Board of Children (NABC) welcomes its new members

Thursday, April 21, 2016

On 15th-17th April, the National Advisory Board of Children within the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family met in a new workshop.

The workshop started with a welcome for its recently recruited members. The young people were familiarized with the UN Childs Rights Convention, with areas of child’s well-being, and determined, along with their colleagues, their roles in the NABC.

During the tree days of the workshop, amid games and fun, the young people had an opportunity to know better the team, were involved in team-building activities, and learned methods of promotion, monitoring, and reporting their own activities.

At the end of the workshop alumni certificates were handed to the young people who had exited the NABC.

Currently the NABC has 35 members from different regions of the country. The NABC was created in 2015, with the support of Partnerships for Every Child, within the USAID-funded project “Children in Moldova live in safe and secure families”, implemented in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Moldova and local public authorities of 11 pilot regions.
