Chisinau, 14th of December, 2021. With the support of the European Union, Cantemir, Cimișlia, Ștefan Vodă and Taraclia districts launch the implementation of the parental education programme “Mellow Parenting”. The group of practitioners engaged in the delivery of the programme in their communities will attend a training provided by national trainers accredited in the Mellow Parenting programme on 14th-16th of December, 2021.

The “Mellow Parenting” programme is aimed at supporting parents in the development of parental skills at various stages of child development and is based on the principles of attachment, social learning and cognitive behaviour theory. The parental skills consolidation format includes 14 group meetings with parents who have children aged 0 to 5. At these meetings, parents learn the characteristics of child development, how to create healthy attachment with their child, thus contributing to the smooth development of children and of the relationship between them.
