Saturday, November 12, 2016

Members of the National Advisory Board of Children /NABC/ within the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family met in Chisinau at a regular training workshop. Thus, on 12th and 13th November, young advisors talked about special protection of children at risk and children separated from their parents, about the child abuse phenomenon and its consequences, etc.

During the two-day’s session, the board members also participated in team-building activities, as well as learned about the promotion, monitoring, and reporting of events. The work agenda included also games and fun activities.

The NABC includes 35 members from different regions of the country. The council was created by the MLSPF in 2015, and performs the role of consulting the ministry in the process of child friendly policies development and promotion. The NABC was created with the support of Partnerships for Every Child, within the USAID-funded project “Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families” implemented in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Moldova and 11 local public authorities of the country.
