Medical equipment amounting to 20,000 EUR (about 400,000 MDL) has been transmitted by P4EC to eight healthcare institutions of Moldova to fight against the new virus Covid-19.

The donation was possible due to the grant of 50,000 EUR provided to the Moldovan Government by the Síol Foundation from Ireland at the end of March.

The equipment: oxygen concentrators, electrical surgical vacuum cleaner, ECGs, pumps, laryngoscope, extension tube for high and low pressure, pharmaceutical products, protective suits, etc, have been transmitted to the Clinic Hospital of Bălți, District Hospital of Cahul, District Hospital of Soroca, Republican Clinic Hospital “Timofei Moșneaga”, Emergency Medicine Institute, Clinic Hospital of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection, Clinic Hospital of Infectious Diseases “Toma Ciorbă”, Republican Clinic Hospital for Children “Emilian Cotaga”.

The financial aid is managed by the NGO “Partnerships for every child” that has identified with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection the needs and priorities of the healthcare and social welfare system.

We will continue to support the central and local authorities together with our donors.

Once again, we are most grateful for the support provided by the Síol Foundation.
