Thursday, December 01, 2022

With the support of the European Union, four local NGOs from Cimislia, Stefan Voda and Taraclia districts receive small grants of 6.4 thousand EURO each, to mobilize resources at local level in order to create a supportive and inclusive social environment in which children feel safe and protected from any form of violence. The grants will also facilitate the establishment of sustainable partnerships between local public authorities and civil society so as to respond promptly to concerns and risks regarding the wellbeing of children and their families.

The grantees are:

  • NGO Youth-Friendly Health Centre “Tineri pentru Tineri”, Cimislia town;
  • NGO “Suflet strămoșesc”, Selemet village, Cimislia district;
  • NGO “Icar – Dedal”, Palanca village, Stefan Voda district;
  • NGO “Association of parents supporting children of School no.3 Taraclia”, Taraclia town.

In the period November 2022 – September 2023, the grantees will support the implementation of innovative programmes of psycho-social assistance and family support to ensure the wellbeing of children in their communities. They will also organise joint activities with parents and children, other educational and counseling activities, etc.

The small grants are offered with the support of the European Union, within the project “For a society where girls and boys can thrive and reach their full potential with dignity”, implemented by NGO “Partnerships for Every Child” and CNFACEM.
