‘Partnerships for Every Child’ organized a new edition of summer school on 1-5 July, for the members of the Advisory Boards of Children (ABC) from Calarasi, Falesti, and Ungheni raions. The event left beautiful memories in the hearts of the children and determined them to make grand plans.
Natalia Semeniuc, Child Participation Consultant:
“This is the third time the summer school is organized, and this time about 60 children and young persons take part”.First of all, all participants pleaded for this beautiful tradition to continue, and the summer school is planned to be organized the next year as well. Secondly, the number of participants may increase, resulting of the extension of the experience in other raions where ‘Partnerships for Every Chil’ implements projects in collaboration with the local public authorities”.
Lucian Golubcov, Ungheni:
“This is a very good opportunity for experience exchange between raions, and the experience gained here can be extended in other raions that wish to hear the children’s voice”.
Doiniţa Tăbăranu, Făleşti:
“We organized our work and leisure together – this is an exceptional summer school!!! The children are different, but they have the same willingness to involve and change things together with the adults”.
Viorica Vdovicenco, Călăraşi:
“The program is tight, we combine what is useful with what is pleasant, we do good things for the future. I hope that next year partners from other raions will also participate”.
The event was organized by P4EC in collaboration with the raion Councils of Falesti, Ungheni, and Calarasi, within the project “Ensuring the right of children to a family, and their protection from violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation”, financially supported by USAID.
