Tuesday, November 05, 2019

With support of the P4EC consultants, the training of children placed in the residential institutions of Sokuluk and Isiik-Atinsk regions with a view to reintegrate them in mainstream schools has started.

This helps children understand the process they go through – assessment and development of the care plan, they learn how to be tolerant and empathic with their peers, and know their rights and obligations better. The training activities help them identify their values, goals and interests for reintegration in the school and community.

The trainings are also attended by the residential personnel working with children to understand the importance of child participation in all the processes affecting them, understand how child participation can be efficient and ethical, methods of child participation.

The activities are delivered within the project “Supportive Family Environment for Children in Kyrgyz Republic” implemented by the NGO “Partnerships for every child”, “Child’s Rights Defenders League” from Kyrgyzstan, with the financial support of the European Union.
