Training workshop for 15 NGOs participating in the Small Grants Contest for the promotion of the National Practice Model

22 December 2016, Representatives of 15 NGOs from the Republic of Moldova participated in a training session on correct ways of small projects writing and application, with the purpose of promoting the well-being of families and children in the Republic of Moldova under the National Practice Model “Getting it right for every child”.

The goal of the workshop was to familiarize the participants with the specifics of the National Practice Model and to provide technical support on the main aspects to be considered while writing and submitting project applications.

Thus, the subjects discussed at the training included areas of child’s well-being, family protective factors, models of community family strengthening activities and some practical aspects of project proposals.

The due time of applications submission is 15 January 2017. The grants program will last three months: February to April 2017.

The goal of the small grants contest is capacity building of local NGOs on community mobilization and provision of necessary support to families in care, up-bringing, and development of their children.

The event was organized by ”Partnerships for Every Child”, within the USAID-funded project Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families, implemented in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Moldova and 11 LPAs of the country.
