Self-assessment exercise for the pilot regions of the project Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families

Heads of social assistance and family protection departments and heads of departments of education from 11 pilot regions of the project Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families participated in a self-assessment exercise, looking into the results obtained by the mentioned regions in the key components of the child protection and education systems, developed in the course of the project implementation.

The event was organized by P4EC, with the USAID-supported project Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family, Ministry of Education, and local public authorities in 11 pilot regions: Ungheni, Falesti, Calarasi, Telenesti, Cahul, Orhei, Nisporeni, Causeni, Singerei, Rezina, and Soroca.

The project Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families was launched in 2014, and its purpose is to improve the safety, well-being, and development of children at risk and those left without adequate family care in the Republic of Moldova.
