The social charity project “Supporting the social-professional integration of adolescents at risk from the left bank of Nistru river by opening the social tailoring workshop in Tiraspol”

The project purpose

Provide assistance in the social and professional integration of female adolescents at risk from both banks of Nistru river by opening the social tailoring workshop in Tiraspol.

Specific key objectives:

• 15 girls at risk from the left bank of Nistru river enjoy additional opportunities of professional training in the social service and are integrated in the community;
• 15 employees of the Charity Fund “Childhood to Children” from Tiraspol and of other NGOs in this field from the left bank of Nistru river acquire skills and knowledge to support the professional integration of young women in the labor market and in the community;
• Relations of trust and cooperation between 50 persons from both banks of Nistru river are developed (30 young people and 20 employees).

In addition, a team of 15 persons (5 from the Fund for Children and 10 from NGOs acting in the social field) will be trained in practical programs of guidance and training for girls. The acquired knowledge and skills can be transferred further to other professionals.

The training program that will be developed within this project and will be delivered to the 15 girls is important from the cultural, social and economic perspective. The 3-month training course will contribute to the consolidation of professional and social skills, such as creativity, ability to work in a team, professional integration, etc.

The project will also contribute to the strengthening of trust and cooperation between the project beneficiaries and the teams of professionals who work for the social-professional integration of young people from both banks of Nistru river. To this end, mutual visits will be carried out to form friendly relations between the project participants and a master class in the field of manual work.
